You may need to be hospitalized due to a sudden illness or accident. Especially if you need surgery, instead of worrying about the cost, you can take advantage of supplementary health insurance's hospital care coverage. If you are required to be hospitalized, your supplementary health insurance will cover your hospital stay and treatment. Surgery and pre- and post-operative examination costs are included in the hospital treatment coverage. In addition to this coverage, radiotherapy, dialysis, chemotherapy, and related expenses are also covered. Remember that the scope of supplementary private health insurance varies from insurer to insurer.

With outpatient coverage, you can receive healthcare services such as examinations, tests, X-rays, and laboratory procedures without needing to be hospitalized. With your supplementary health insurance, you can visit a contracted private hospital and have your doctor's recommended check-ups and tests done free of charge. You only need to pay a participation fee of 15 TL for each examination. You can benefit from your health insurance policy without paying any fees other than the participation fee. While supplementary health insurance policies vary depending on the insurance company, they generally cover 8-10 outpatient examinations per year.
